Holkham Hall and Haddon Hall kick off the 2015 season

Over the past three weeks Holkham Hall in Norfolk and Haddon Hall in Derbyshire, home to two of our Great Inns of Britain, have been in a flurry a feather dusters getting ready to open their doors to the public. Easter weekend marked the reopening of almost all 500 members of the Historic Houses Association.

Two rooms get a ‘wet and wild’ makeover at The Rose & Crown

These newly refurbished rooms have been designed by a local interior designer to reflect the surrounding dales countryside setting but also to give a contemporary feel. The new wet-room installed in one of the rooms gives a spacious walk-in shower area, ideal for ease of access or for those who like to linger longer in the luxury of a good shower!
