On Saturday 23 September, head to Y Talbot for their penultimate ‘Meet the Producer’ evening with Chris Davies of Welsh Sea Foods, Milford Haven. Celebrating the best of local produce, diners can expect a variety of fish inspired dishes with a mixture of well-loved classics and some of Head Chef, Dafydd Watkin’s unusual, creative dishes thrown in the mix to tantalise your taste buds. Dafydd knows a little something about pushing the boundaries to create dishes with flare and creativity – having trained with Marco Pierre White before becoming Premier Sous Chef at The Ritz.

Nestled in the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains, Y Talbot is perfectly located in the centre of the stunning market town of Tregaron, Ceredigion. Surrounded by some of the UK’s most admired coastlands and countryside; Dafydd is inspired by the freshest of Welsh ingredients, taking great pride in creating exquisite dishes using a breadth of locally sourced produce when possible.
