These newly refurbished rooms have been designed by a local interior designer to reflect the surrounding dales countryside setting but also to give a contemporary feel. The new wet-room installed in one of the rooms gives a spacious walk-in shower area, ideal for ease of access or for those who like to linger longer in the luxury of a good shower!

Built in 1681, and the first coaching inn from Whitby to York and London, The White Horse & Griffin, Whitby this month joins the Great Inns of Britain.
Following news earlier this month that the Inn at Whitewellis ‘perfect' according to its entry in the 16th edition of Sawday’s British Hotel Guide, we’re delighted to report that another of our inns, The King’s Head Inn at Bledington in the Cotswolds, has won the ‘Nicely Priced’ award in the first Sawday’s British Hotel Awards.
Yes - it has finally happened. One of our inns has been (quite rightfully) assigned the title of 'perfect.'By Alistair Sawday, no less. The Inn at Whitewell has won an “Old Favourites” award in the first Sawday’s British Hotel Awards.
The Bell Inn, Horndon on the Hill has 'done the quadruple' and won the Good Pub Guide's 'County Dining Pub 2015' award for the fourth year running. They join a small elite, with, to our knowledge, only 10 other pubs in the country winning it four times in a row.
