The Boar’s Head wins UK’s best pet friendly hotel

The Boar’s Head in Ripley, owned by Sir Thomas Ingilby of Ripley Estate, has been recognised as the UK’s best pet friendly hotel, winning the title in LateRooms.com’s 2016 Simply the Guest Awards.

The annual awards, held for the last four years by booking company LateRooms.com, use guest reviews and ratings published on the site to recognise and reward the highest standards in the hotel industry across a number of categories.

The Boar’s Head is situated on the beautiful cobbled market square in the graceful heritage listed village of Ripley. The stunning inn is only yards away from its own Castle! Ripley Castle which has been home to the Ingilby family for over 700 years.

The Boar’s Head welcomes dogs providing they bring a well-trained owner! You will find a bone placed in a basket and water bowls are provided. Dogs will have a small charge of £10.00 per day and they are welcome in the Bar/Bistro and lounge areas.
