The Peacock at Rowsley

Part of the Haddon Estate, the hotel is steeped in history, dating back to 1652, when it was built for the Steward of Haddon Hall. It then became a dower house for the current owners family, before becoming a hotel in 1832. Not only are they located in the heart of the Peak District, The Peacock at Rowsley is also situated close to the rivers Wye, Lathkill and Bradford, which enables them to offer some truly spectacular fly fishing. There’s plenty of walking and cycling routes to discover, and a trip wouldn’t be complete without trying local delicacies such as Bakewell Tarts.
