Tuck into a Herefordshire Sunday lunch at Castle House Hotel this Father’s Day

Have you decided how to treat Dad for Father’s Day this year? If you’re looking for a traditional Sunday roast dinner to beat all other roasts, look no further than Castle House Hotel, Hereford.

Between 12pm and 2pm on Sunday June 17th, step inside this beautifully restored Grade II listed Georgian townhouse and tuck into a three-course traditional Herefordshire Sunday lunch with all the trimmings.

A kitchen headed by the vastly experienced Claire Nicholls (pictured), peruse delicious starters including pea and parsley soup and smoked haddock fishcake before moving on to the main event.

Take your pick from a roast sirloin of Hereford beef with seasonal vegetables, a Yorkshire pudding and roast gravy or maybe you’ll plump for free range chicken breast with sauté potatoes, braised gem, pancetta crumb and thyme jus?

That’s not forgetting the grilled plaice fillet or leek, broad beans and pea tart option for vegetarians.

If you’ve still got room, bring your meal to a close with a scrumptious selection of afters including crème brûlée, apple and strawberry crumble or a selection of local and British cheeses with grapes, celery and biscuits.

On Father’s Day, adults can enjoy three courses for £28 each with children under 12 dining for £15 each (12pm – 2pm). Click here to view Castle House Hotel‘s full Sunday lunch menu.
