Four of our Inns are located across North and West Yorkshire; Shibden Mill Inn, The Boar’s Head, The Blue Lion and The White Horse & Griffin. With plenty to do right on their doorstep’s you are sure to have the perfect getaway!

The Shibden Mill Inn

Located in the stunning Shibden valley, the 17th century Inn is steeped in history – beginning life as a corn and spinning mill it was then sold to Halifax brewers the ‘Websters’ in 1890 when it became a public house. It is an ideal spot to explore the beautiful Yorkshire countryside.

The Boar’s Head

Situated yards from Ripley Castle, the Inn is located on the quaint cobbled market square in the charming village of Ripley. A short drive away is Fountains Abbey, Newby Hall and Royal Horticultural Society Garden where you can soak up some culture and nature on the doorstep of this Inn!

The Blue Lion

Originally a coaching inn towards the end of the 18th century, The Blue Lion is a welcomed traveller’s rest as they pass through Wensleydale. While you’re here become the next Wallis and Gromit and visit The Wensleydale Creamery to sample some of the famous cheese! With tranquil nature spots like Aysgarth Falls or the exciting Forbidden Corner just around the corner, you’re sure to find something for everyone!

The White Horse & Griffin

Set in the heart of Whitby’s historic east side, the White Horse and Griffin is the perfect location from which to explore the town, the coast and surrounding North Yorkshire Moors.
